ELEMENTARY

Great Commission Schools’ elementary program consists of grades K-5. Classes average 10 - 12 per grade. The curriculum is Christian-based and meets PA state standards. God’s word is an important part of each day, and students participate in a weekly chapel to sing and learn together.

Traditional academic subjects are supplemented by daily “specials” such as art, music, library, computers, physical education, and guidance.

Title I support services are available if learning needs are identified. Elementary students have their own stairwells in the building, and our classrooms are spacious and safe.

We have a beautiful, fenced-in playground area for recess enjoyment.

A Day in the Life...

On a typical day in Mrs. Sandell's kindergarten class at Great Commission School, students follow a carefully crafted schedule that balances structured learning activities and free play time. Great Commission is a blessing to our family!  The small class size and individualized attention my son receives is invaluable.  Aside from the academics, he is learning about God, the Bible, and what it means to have a Christ like character.  The teachers are caring and work with parents to provide the most engaging and loving environment for the students!
