Using your talents to Glorify God

The music department at GCS consists of two elementary classes, a middle school class and high school ensemble that all meet every week.  Our elementary classes learn basic musicianship, how to sing, and learn a children’s musical every Christmas.  Our middle school music class learns music history and theory in a music appreciation setting.

The high school class also helps out with elementary chapel on a weekly basis. In the Spring, the music department is very busy preparing for our Spring musical that we have in the Mishler theater every year. All of our students enjoy learning basic musical skills that will be with them for the rest of their lives in a Christ centered environment.

The performing arts program at GCS provides many opportunities for our students. We offer music and drama classes along with the opportunity to participate in plays, musicals, and an ensemble group.

The GCS Art classes are designed to spark your interest in different media. In class we use charcoal, pencils, watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, clay, markers, and so much more.
